Easter weekend we went to a local sheepdog trial put on by Buckhorn Valley Kennel Club. She qualified and got first place in her class both days and Sunday we got an extra surprise. She was Reserve High in Trial, which means that she had the second highest score in the entire trial!!! That’s a first for us. She was really calm, cool and collected and the sheep responded very well to her. We only had a few faults and the judge even wrote on her score card “Nice job! I really like this dog :)” Smiley face included. Kira made me very proud Sunday.
