What I’ve been up too.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything but reviews or random promo so I thought I’d tell you a little bit about what I’ve been up too writing wise. I’ve completed the rough draft of Sabaska’s Quest, the second Tales of the Travelers book and it’s off to my beta reader. She should have it back to me soon so I can make edits and send it to my publisher. You can check out Sabaska’s Tale while you’re waiting if you want. I’d totally like that. 🙂

I’m working on a story about a vaquero set in 1850. It’s a short story and, as with all weird westerns, it has a twist. It’s been a lot of fun so far.

I also switched gears a little and wrote a cyberpunkish adventure sci fi, young adult, short story that may eventually become a novel. It’s like fifth in line right now. It’s out on submission.

I do have one Doc story and one Brown story (anyone get it yet?) out on submission still and am waiting to hear back from those. The waiting! *dies*

Anomaly Con is coming up at the end of March. It looks like I’m going to have some pretty fun panels, so I hope you all come. 🙂

As far as my work list is concerned, once I finish the vaquero story I plan to work on another short while I’m doing edits. This one will be about the Royal Canine Air Force. It’s gonna take some research, but it should be fun to write. I’m then going to dive back into Saga’s Journey, a Legends of the Travelers novel. It’s about half done already, so I’m pretty far into it. Then I want to finish the Doc, Vampire-Hunting Dog novel I started last year. Then, finally, I’ll be writing the last Clanless novel. I promise… Not sure on any timeline for publication but… I’ll at least have it done. Once I catch up on all of those, I want to write my Dragon novel and maybe my cyberpunk/adventure sci fi novel, then probably more in the Travelers’ series. However, that’s a lot of words, and a lot can happen so my plan is fluid. lol. Though if it gives you any idea, I want to be starting my Dragon novel around November, so…lots of words. 🙂

In the meantime, Steampunk Trails 1 (I’m the editor) is half off for a few days to celebrate Ground Hog Day. Check it out: http://steampunktrails.blogspot.com/
