Review – Lillian Holmes and the Leaping Man

18246648Lillian Holmes and the Leaping Man by Ciar Cullen

Lillian Holmes is an intriguing heroine. She’s wealthy, single and is convinced the famous detective Sherlock Holmes is her Uncle. Though in her more lucid moments she remembers that he’s fictional and even has a letter from Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle. Many force are at play, trying to control her life, a life she is determined she alone will control. One evening, while looking out her window, she sees a man leap from a window and land, apparently unhurt, even though a human shouldn’t have been able to accomplish this. In true Holmes fashion, she collects clues and gathers evidence until she discovers the culprit. She also discovers many other things along the way, including how to love.

This is a great story for people who love romance, strong female characters, historical pieces and vampire. The writing is clean and the action keeps the pages turning.
