Sorry for my silence over the last week or so. My parents were visiting for the Holidays and I didn’t get a lot of computer time. We had a really good visit.
I hope everyone had a happy holiday of their choice.
There are two new Doc stories posted. Doc 9, which concludes this round of his misadventures and a short Christmas Tale.
In other Doc news, that’s it for him for a while. I need to focus on getting the rough drafts of the next story in the Senior Year Bites series and the next Arabian Dreams out. Not to mention the steampunk concept I’ve been playing with. I have many more Doc stories to write, I’m just going to focus on a few other things for a while. I will probably post random little stories now and again but nothing regular. I’m also going to get started on a Doc novella that I will offer for sale. No eta at this point, but I’ll keep you updated.
I’m planning on more regular blogging starting next year.
Let’s start with some New Years resolutions. These are more like goals than actual resolutions, but I wanted to share.
Write
Ride
Duh… lol.
A more detailed list.
Novels
Finish and edit and submit the Next Arabian Dreams – no working title yet.
Finish and edit and submit the Next Senior Year Bites, working Title Summer Break Blues.
Finish rough draft of my Steampunk novel – no working title yet.
Shorter stuff.
Write my first Doc Novella and figure out how I’m going to offer it for sale.
Blog regularly – I’m getting better at this.
Create my SYB book trailer and my Arabian Dreams book trailer. I know what I’m going to do for SYB, just gotta spend the time to do it. I have no ideas yet for Arabian Dreams.
Ride my horse as much as I can. (this also encompasses the lose the 5 pounds I gained last week and keep weight off goal.)
Find some sheep for my dog to play with.
Start flyball training with Kira after she turns one. She’s 9 months now.
It’s gonna be a busy year 🙂
So, how about you guys? What are some of your resolutions?
Oh, I’m going to miss Doc, but look forward to his return. You have an ambitious list of resolutions! I too, have set high goals:
Finish my new novel comic RED HOT LIBERTY.
Finish the novella SHOW DOG SINGS THE BLUES, which expands a scene from RED HOT LIBERTY via the perspective of the dogs.
And write the sequel to GLORY.
I was going to start an Internet radio program, too, but a friend convinced me I would be spreading myself too thin, so will probably put that on hold for now.
So, here’s to a year of happy writing! Cheers!
You can do it! I’m looking forward to Show Dog Sings the Blues.
Doc won’t be gone for long. And he’s glad to know he’ll be missed.
